  I highly recommend this pediatric group. All the doctors are amazing, appointments are easy to make & they are open EVERY day for emergencies. They have doctors phone hours in the morning if you have a quick question. As a first time mom, I always feel at ease with these doctors and trust them completely.

  Being a patient of The Pediatric Group in Princeton when I was in grade school, I was pleased to be able to make Dr. Cotton my son's pediatrician when he was born. However, our latest experience with the Pediatric Group was less than ideal and incredibly disappointing. In between jobs, my family was enrolled in Medicaid for three months after my son was born. I had visited the office multiple times and was never properly advised that the office did not accept Medicaid, and after taking my insurance card and scanning it AND exchanging a series of questions between the front assistants and nurses, we were under the impression that everything was okay. Over a month later, I received a phone call from The Pediatric Group that we then owed them over $1,000 for our appointments. After calmly telling them what our experience had been the "Account Manager" Ann Sooby rudely informed us that "maybe we should learn a life lesson" and "were not welcome back in the office". She implied that we were inferior parents because of what our financial situation had been and also insinuated that we were too young to care for our child correctly (My husband and I were both 25 at the time). After our experience, we tried to reach out multiple times to Dr. Cotton but were informed that he was either "unavailable" or directed to someone else in the office who would ultimately tell us the same thing. I have never been so insulted in my entire life. Their website reads: "Ann helps families to keep their accounts current. She assists with insurance inquiries and submissions. Any family with special financial needs can depend on Ann to help in making suitable payment arrangements." This group should look into changing this description as Ann is ANYTHING but helpful or dependable. We are at Princeton Nassau Pediatrics now and they are absolutely wonderful.
